| Comments: | We are the very proud owners of a 1year old APBT. He had to be the most loving and outgoing dog we have owned or known. His greatest joy is telling him he is a good dog... and eating socks. If you thought it was difficult to convince people that pitbulls are well tempered and loyal dogs before. Now with this Ontario ban everyone, even people who knew nothing prior, seem to think they are now educated on pitbulls. they now think they know that every pitty is a mean, violent dog waiting for their chance to attack. That is a pile of shit! But it is unclear to us what we as pitbull owners and dog lovers in general can do to save this great breed. | Comments: | Look, i do believe that the other side does have some (keyword!) valid points, but this ban is not the answer. To anyone who agrees with me or not, I'd like your support/help. I am about to do something very outragous...I am going to delve deep into the facts, and what the public was told the facts were, and i am going to fight till the end the government and anyone else to help this poor breed gain public awareness to the fact that they are not the enemy. My goal is to show the world that they have been misled my these people; to make use of canada's supposed equal rights and the unspoken rule of being innocent until proven guilty. I have this plan in action and am in the middle of finding as many media sources and officials to help. So anyone interested in helping me or in telling me I'm wrong is more than welcome to please do so at my posted e-mail. | Comments: | This is terrific that you have put together a web site on pitbulls!Ihave two my self and they are so sweet(unless you blow on them)you'd never think they'd have a bad reputation. Why Do they have a bad reputation? Because 'some' people raise them for fighting? Those people should just be thrown off the edge of Earth or they should be fought with other pitbull fighters. My point is some peolpe screw it up for a lovely breed because they're ass holes and we pitbull owners should be able to go for a walk with our dogs without be asked 'Are they mean' or "' They're lookig a my kids like lunch meat"' |

Is now neutered male (2 weeks ago) and plays with existing neutered young German Shepherd - also a stray. Both dogs under 2 of age. Please let me know what I can do to assist in dispelling the myths. | Comments: | I think your web site and ones like yours are great. I have a pit bull and a pit/lab cross that I got because no one wanted them. There are my pride and joy so its great to see that other people out there loves these dogs just as much as I do. Were I live it is hard having a pit because of the bi-laws and there trying to get even tougher on them (brantford is trying to make an example of how "horrible" these dogs are) so with every ones attitudes like that I cant take my dogs on there play dates any more. The cant go to public parks and they cant be off their leashes. Keep up the work and the great info you have on your site and hopefully people like yourself and myself can hopefully change peoples minds and prove these dogs are great pets. |

I have always loved the terrier breeds and will continue to look in adopting particular terrier breeds only. Thanks for having a heart to help those pitbulls that are discriminated for lame reasons. I am a HUGE pitbull supporter, although I don't have one (I have a Greyhound boy who is the light of my life) I sure will adopt one at some point. | Comments: | i just wanted to share my experience with pits... i have two beautiful pits at home, one brindle, Punk, and one red nose, Primus, and i have to say that they are the most protective, loving dogs i have ever owned... even over a labrodor. i have a two and a half year old son, and a 5 month old, and these two dogs would not let a single thing happen to either of my two children. they are warm hearted, and great natured, and i must say that it saddens me to know how ignarent people are to the breed. and i think that we should work together to lower the cases of dog fighting, and animal neglect |

My husband and I have a 6 month old little girl and she is 100% the light in my life. We are unable to have children but that pain has been soothed by our Sapphire.
